Frequently Asked Questions

Ordering

Do all orders have to be placed online?
All Green To Go products can be ordered directly online by going to the Order page and selecting the format desired. If you are having a problem placing your order online, contact us at orders@perduecreative.com or call us at 901-763-2787, Monday thru Friday, 9AM - 5PM CST.

How long will it take?
As simple as it is, Green To Go is not a cookie-cutter operation. But having been in the business for more than 20 years, we've got this down to a near-science. Generally speaking, your order will be processed, written, designed, printed and shipped in about 4 to 5 weeks. Here's a quick timeline for the typical project:

Draft 1 Content: 7-10 business days (from receipt of your order and questionnaire)
Revised Content: 2-3 business days (from receipt of your mark-up of Draft 1 Content)
Draft 1 Layout: 5-7 business days (from approval of Content)
Revised Layout/Final Proof: 2-3 business days (from receipt of your mark-up of Draft 1 Layout)
Print Production: 10 business days (from your approval of Final Proof)
Shipping: Depending on the shipping option you choose, you should receive your order between one and seven business days after it has shipped. For your convenience, we notify you via email when your order has shipped and provide you with tracking information.

What if I want to order a quantity larger than 5,000?
You'll get no argument from us. If you'd like to place an order that is larger than 5,000, please contact us at orders@perduecreative.com or call us at 901-763-2787 and we'll work up a custom quote.

How do I reorder a Green To Go project?
As a courtesy to our customers, we archive Green To Go projects for a period of 18 months. If you wish to re-order your project, and it has been less than 18 months since your previous order, simply contact us at orders@perduecreative.com or call us at 901-763-2787, Monday thru Friday, 9AM - 5PM CST and we will retrieve your files, place your order and email you a link so you can complete your transaction with us.

Shipping

What shipping options do you offer and how much do they cost?
All Green To Go orders are shipped via FedEx Ground unless you request expedited shipping. If you need estimated shipping costs, you may indicate that on your Order Form/Questionnaire when placing your order or contact us at orders@perduecreative.com, letting us know the item and quantity and whether expedited shipping is required.

Print Production

What type of printing process do you use?
All Green To Go projects are offset printed on sheet-fed presses using 4-color process (CMYK) inks. We strive to consistently deliver the industry standard in "pleasing color" and make any reasonable adjustment to ensure the colors in your project match your approved proof as closely as possible. However, because of the complexities of color-matching across devices (and from on-screen to on-paper), we cannot match colors exactly as they might appear on your computer monitor, printer or similar proofing device.

What type of paper stock do you use?
All Green To Go projects are printed on uncoated Domtar Cougar in various weights depending on the item you ordered. We chose Cougar for a number of reasons: First, it is a high quality paper with proven performance on press and a high 98 brightness level. Secondly, Cougar is an optimal environmental choice. All Cougar paper is FSC-certified, SFI Fiber Sourcing Certified and endorsed by the Rainforest Alliance. And, it features 10% post-consumer recycled content and certified fiber. If that weren't enough, Domtar makes an annual contribution of $275,000 to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) from the sale of Cougar.

Can I proof my order prior to it being printed?
You will have multiple opportunities to ensure you get what you wanted. Our pricing includes one round of revisions to Content and one round of revisions to Layout. So you will see two Content proofs and two Layout proofs before we go to press.

Are the colors shown on my digital proof accurate color?
We use the Adobe Creative Suite to create all artwork files, including Adobe Acrobat for producing our PDF proofs.
