Targeting young influencers, particularly those with an interest in environmental issues, the "Print Grows Trees" logo was designed to seduce viewers even before they absorb its perhaps counterintuitive message. This became the centerpiece for the cause marketing campaign.
It was pure serendipity when we realized the "E" and "F" in the name presented the perfect fuel gauge metaphor. It was even more fun to see if people noticed the needle on "E" before the event, and on "F" during the event on T-shirts, presentation materials, etc.
The most difficult client we've ever worked for is ourselves. But we're fairly pleased with the abstracted "P" in perspective, which suggests our forward-thinking attitudes and constant look to the future. It's also nice that inverted and paired together, the symbol resembles Jay's initials, and makes for a cool repeat pattern we used on the back of our letterhead, business cards and on DVD labels.
